Mentorship

Someone who has run the room, in your corner.

One-on-one mentorship for therapists and clinical leaders. Practical, honest, and built around the decision in front of you.

Who it's for

  • Licensed therapists opening or growing a private practice
  • Clinicians stepping into supervision, program direction or leadership
  • Clinical directors and owners who run things and have nobody to think out loud with
  • Associates and early-career clinicians who want a steady, experienced sounding board

What we work on

You bring the real question. Some common ones: how to price and fill a cash practice, how to write notes that hold up without taking your evenings, how to supervise someone well, how to hold a line with a staff member you like, how to lead through a hard change, how to keep your own work from eating your life.

I've been a clinical supervisor, a clinical director and the chief executive of a group practice. Teaching is my favorite part of the job. I'll tell you what I'd do, what I got wrong, and where I'm not sure.

Mentorship is available to clinicians anywhere, because it isn't therapy. Payment is by card. Same cancellation rule as everything else I do: by 3:00 PM the day before.

What mentorship is not. It is not therapy, and it is not clinical supervision for licensure hours. If you're an associate who needs supervised hours counted by the Board of Behavioral Sciences, you need a supervisor with a signed supervision agreement, and I'm not offering that here. I also don't give legal or tax advice, and I'll point you to the right professional when you need one.

If mentorship starts to turn into your own therapy, I'll say so, and we'll sort out where that belongs. I can't be both.
